Bill Bennett, joined ABHR
in 2006 following 8 years working on major IT projects within the financial service industry.
He began at the Inland Revenue, after completing a Masters in Electronic Engineering, where
he was responsible for load testing 4 tier architectures designed to cope with
large numbers of concurrent users. Moving to Capital One with this understanding of middleware implementations Bill
was the architect for their Internet and Middleware Platform build with iPlanet, Weblogic and Tuxedo.
Bill then began to develop an interest in Software Development Processes and managed a team who introduced Software
Quality Assurance and Configuration Management across Capital One's IT department. During this time Bill also
provided Architectural consultancy to the launch of a Credit Card Platform for Continental Europe based upon CTL's
Prime, and Strategy Advice to the recently formed test team. Following this Bill formed and ran a team responsible for
the provision of all development infrastructure, this included the build and maintenance of development and test
environments and the related requirements, design, development, test, bug tracking and version control tool sets.
Whilst with ABHR Bill has returned to a solution architect role working extensively on application and account
management projects within the Spanish Credit Card Industry and upon several Internet developments. He has also
expaned his skill set to include requiremnts gathering and specifcation.
